CONGRATULATIONS FATHER WALTER! Father Walter was honored as a CEF Burse Recipient on June 28 at the Austin Diocese of Council of Catholic Women Banquet in Temple. The purpose of the CEF (Clerical Endowment Fund) is to aid in the education of seminarians in the Austin Diocese. The money from the fund comes from Mass card enrollments, bequests from estates, special donations, and an annual drive in each parish. After at least $4000 has been donated to the fund in the name of an individual (Father Walter) or family, the DCCW adds another $4000 for an $8000 burse. Father was also recognized by Bishop Vasquez on his 30th anniversary of priesthood.
